As a nanny, I sometimes wonder just how different this current breed of little ones is compared to my own generation. I mean, they still play with barbies, they still hate eating their vegies, problems are immediately fixed when a kiss and a bandaid are applied, mum & dad are the best people in the world...
But now, even the smallest children I look after know what an iPod is, most know that you can take photos on your phone. They ask to see themselves as soon as you've taken a photo, not knowing that once you had to wait weeks to get your photos developed, it's all about instant gratification....
Actually, we're really not that different at all are we?
