days 44, 45 & 46.

Day 46.

Oh, how I wish to be somewhere else.
But as soon as I got to that somewhere, I would want to be back here.

Day 45.

Affogato-
Vanilla Bean Icecream.
Shot of espresso.
Shot of frajelico.

Day 44.

We live in such a fast paced life, we forget to take in our surrounds.
Nature creates such beautiful patterns for us and we're all too busy to look.

days 38, 39, 40, 41, 42 & 43.

Day 43.

I have a terribly serious addiction to these two items.
I feel empty without my phone.
My laptop is my constant companion when I'm all alone.
I think I need to find love, or some new friends to help me detox!

Day 42.

We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today
- Stacia Tauscher

Day 41.

Willow's decided to get into the Christmas spirt.
I can't imagine tinsel being very tasty though...

Day 40.

Getting me through.

Day 39.

Introducing my other pup, Darcy.
My (almost) lifelong companion, she's coming up on fourteen.
Completely deaf, walks into things, sleeps all day, but I still adore her.

Day 38.

Our 'Christmas Nest'.

Tuesday, December 15, 2009

Just had to share another photo of my darling Willow.
Lovingly nicknamed Will-low-low by the gorgeous Jessica.

Day 36.

Long gone, but still remembered in stone.

Day 35.

The most amazing woman in the world.
My beautiful grandmother.

Day 34.

Bowling for work xmas party.
I won a prize.
Last place.

Coffee. Coffee. Coffee.
Enough said?

(I'm breaking the rules. Two photograph's for the one day)

The beautiful Skarlett.
Drummer Extraordinaire.
Showing off her new piercing, the mirror of mine.
Thanks for holding my hand when I panicked.

days 29 & 30.

Day 30.

I've said it before & I'll say it again- I love my job.
Here's some playdough I made for the darling little one I nanny.
(It looks dry but it's due to the 'swirls' of colour)

Day 29.

You don't need to see her face to see her beauty.
This wonderful human has a heart of gold.

Sunday, December 6, 2009

days 25, 26, 27 & 28.

Day 28.

Bathtime with my favourite 4 year old.
"Barbie is doing her tricks"
Such a simple sentence to a little one but it made me laugh. Luckily, she had no idea why.

Day 27.

Aren't these amazing? My mum recieved them for her birthday.

Day 26.

Dinner at Donovans for my darling Mother's birthday.

Started with a Kir Royale (pictured).
Entree was Roast Tomato tart with caramelised onion & goats cheese. Served on a roquette salad.
Main was a beautiful Home made Chicken Pot Pie served with baby vegetables.
Desert was strawberry sorbet & champagne parfait served in a pyramid, sitting in a rasberry coulis with melon salad.
Ending with a beautiful Peppermint tea.

Day 25.

A world without children, would be a world without life.
Before you turn around and roll your eyes when a child does something wrong, stop & think, they'll be in your shoes before too long.

Is there anything better? A fresh pot of coffee, a sunfilled day, no work - bliss.

days 22 & 23.

Day 23.

Day 22.

Cucumber salad, it must be summer.
